With more than 100 participating units, Vietnam Game Verse 2025 brings opportunities to connect and develop the Vietnamese game industry.

Game Verse 2025 is organized by the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, Vietnam Game Alliance in coordination with other units. The event opened on the morning of May 26 at Saigon SECC Exhibition and Convention Center, District 7.

At the opening of the event, Mr. Le Quang Tu Do, Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism shared: Vietnam Gameverse 2025 has witnessed many records, many first things. For the first time, the scale of Vietnam Gameverse 2025 has expanded to more than 100 participating units and booths, double last year and 5 times higher than the first season.

Mr. Tu Do also emphasized that this year's event marks the first time that national corporations and large gaming companies such as Apple, Meta, Google, Roblox, Riot Games... have come to attend, work with management agencies, and exchanged and cooperated extensively with gaming businesses.

One of the highlights of Gameverse 2025 is the professionalization of Esports (edesports), expanding the definition of sports with the participation of many units, notably VNG. They have coordinated with strategic partners, contributing to the professionalization of Esports in Vietnam, from operating the Vietnam Championship Series (VCS) tournament system to supporting players in international competitions.

Esports is developing strongly, going beyond the framework of an entertainment form to become a global industry with millions of followers and billions of USD in revenue, officially recognized at major sporting events such as the SEA Games or Asian Games.

At Game Verse 2025, VNGGames collaborated with Roblox to organize a workshop "Roblox: An immersive Platform for Innovation" to connect individual developers, game studios and brands in Vietnam with representatives from Roblox - a creative platform with more than 97 million active users every day.

Roblox is emerging strongly as an effective game development and release channel. In the past 12 months alone, Roblox has paid more than 803 million USD to global developers, an increase of 15% compared to the previous year, including many developers in Vietnam. The top 10 developers earn an average of $30 million/year - five times higher than in 2019.

Since becoming a Roblox issuing partner in Vietnam in 2024, VNGGames has opened a "new door" for the domestic creative community. With the goal of building a safe and localized gaming community, Roblox - VNG has attracted more than 10 million users in just the first few months of operation.

Vietnamese developers can now use Roblox Studio, taking advantage of the global ecosystem and these support programs to commercialize products to international markets.

Leco Studio is a testament to its outstanding success. The title TTD3 game - a community-interactive online dance game on Roblox, reached 1.1 billion visits and more than 5,000 players at the same time, affirming the competitive potential of Vietnamese products when supported appropriately.

According to Mr. Tran Dinh Nam Anh - studio founder, it is the combination of a strong platform and support network from VNG and Roblox that has helped the team overcome technical challenges, shorten development time and reach global players more effectively.
