Attending the award ceremony were Mr. Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Departments, branches and sectors.
Responding to the major policy of the Party and State on developing science, technology and innovation, Techfest Nghe An Open 2025 is organized to seek, nurture and accompany potential startup ideas and projects, associated with the strengths and development needs of the province. This is also an opportunity for startups to connect with experts, investors and incubation programs, and at the same time access Nghe An's startup support policies.
With the motto "Breakthrough - Overcome", Techfest Nghe An Open 2025 aims to solve practical problems with innovative thinking, especially in the areas of strength of the province such as: High-tech agriculture, tourism, trade, cultural industry, information technology and financial services.
This year's event has a special meaning, both in response to the National Innovation Day (October 1) and National Digital Transformation Day (October 10), and towards the 66th anniversary of the founding of Nghe An Department of Science and Technology (October 25, 2019 - October 25, 2025).
After 6 months of launching, the contest has received more than 130 entries from organizations and individuals across the country. After the training round and preliminary round, the Organizing Committee selected 20 projects with the highest scores to enter the final round of the Contest.
After 2 days of competition in the final round, at the Award Ceremony, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee selected the 10 best projects to award 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 4 Encouragement Prizes. The remaining 10 projects were recognized as potential startup projects.
This year's projects clearly demonstrate the spirit of creativity, application of technology and the goal of sustainable development. Many models are highly applicable, contributing to solving practical problems in life.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee congratulated the groups of excellent authors, and acknowledged the efforts of the Department of Science and Technology and accompanying agencies and units.
On this occasion, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De also launched the "Search for Nghe An Creative Startup Talent in 2026" Contest, with the message: "Aspiration for innovation - Breakthrough creativity - Create the future".
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De called on the business community and entrepreneurs to continue to pioneer in innovating business models, applying new technologies, accompanying startups with knowledge, capital and practical experience, becoming an experienced investor and a guide for the younger generation.
