What is Candida?
Candida albicans is a type of naturally raw fermented mushroom in our bodies, especially in the intestines. If the body is healthy, they are not harmful. However, if there is an imbalance, for example, due to antibiotic use or unscientific eating, Candida can thrive and cause digestive disorders, fatigue, fungal infections, etc.
The Candida diet was born with the aim of limiting Yeast by cutting sugar, greasy foods, processed foods, alcohol and refined grains. Instead, eat plenty of green vegetables, fish, eggs, nuts and fermented foods like kimchi, yogurt.
Is the Candida diet really good?
There is currently no clear evidence that dieting this way can directly reduce the amount of Candida in the intestines. There is no research to prove that the Candida diet really controls Yeast. But eating more fiber and natural foods is certainly beneficial for the digestive system," said Dr. Mahmoud Ghannoum, a microbiologist at Western Case Reserve University (USA).
Foods rich in fiber help fuel good bacteria in the intestines. These bacteria ferment fiber, creating fatty acids that can inhibit the growth of Candida.

Advantages and disadvantages
Candida diet can help you eat healthier, avoiding bad foods. But it is not a treatment. If you have signs of fungal infections or persistent digestive disorders, see a doctor. Self-treatment through diet can cause deficiencies in nutrients, fatigue or an unbalanced diet. This diet should only be partly supportive, not a treatment replacement, said nutritionist Suzanne investor (Florida, USA).
