Nutrition plays a key role in protecting and maintaining kidney health.

One of the most important factors in the diet is the type of protein consumed daily. Many medical studies have shown that choosing the right type of drug addict can help reduce the burden on the kidneys, especially for people at risk or suffering from chronic kidney disease.

According to the World Health Organization, plant protein from sources such as soybeans, lentils, green beans, chia seeds, flax seeds and whole grains not only provides enough essential amino acids but also contains less phosphorus and uric acid than animal protein factors that have a negative impact on the kidneys.

Experts also recommend that a diet rich in plant protein helps slow down the progression of kidney failure in people with chronic kidney disease, thanks to its ability to reduce urea levels and renal plaque filtering pressure.

Meanwhile, consuming too much animal protein, especially from red meat such as beef and pork, can increase the risk of kidney damage.

One study found that people who eat a lot of red meat have a 40% higher risk of chronic kidney disease than those who consume less. Red meat contains a large amount of purines, which lead to increased uric acid and organic phosphorus both of which increase the pressure on the kidneys during blood filtration.

However, not all animal dames are harmful. Fishing rods such as salmon, mackerel and eggs in reasonable amounts are still considered a source of high-quality protein that has little negative impact on the kidneys. Fish also contains omega-3, which helps reduce inflammation, a factor that contributes to kidney damage.

To protect kidney health, adults should prioritize the use of plant dam, limit red meat and use animal dam from fish or eggs in moderation.

A balanced, low-salt, and high-fiber diet also contributes to more effective kidney function.
