Grab Vietnam and the Da Nang City Culinary Culture Association (DCCA) have just officially announced a list of nearly 70 restaurants and eateries honored at the Da Nang "Seven-Following" restaurants awards ceremony, to honor local restaurants and eateries, contributing to the unique culinary identity of Da Nang City.
The program is not only a tribute to the shops that have created the local culinary identity, but also connects these culinary quintessence with the technology platform and creates new momentum to promote tourism development.
This event also marks the first activity in the 3-year Memorandum of Understanding between Grab and DCCA, aiming to promote local culture - tourism through cuisine.
After the evaluation process based on actual data and professional consultation, nearly 70 typical business units were selected and honored by Grab and DCCA. The selection criteria are based on three main evaluation sources, including nominations from DCCA based on expert consultation, travel agencies and tourist surveys; feedback data from GrabFood users in 2024 - 2025, including ordering, experience feedback, and user satisfaction; and compliance with the operational and legal regulations of each unit.
Local restaurants and eateries were honored in 3 categories, including:
- The "Tru Danh Travor" category honors 40 typical, long-standing, and unique restaurants, considered a representative of the quintessence of local cuisine. Some prominent names include 1A Quang noodles, Ba Duong banh xeo, Bi My Cho Con, Bun Cha Ca Ba Lu, Bun Bo Ba Loi, ...
- The " being loved by Thich Nhat" category honors 12 restaurants and eateries that are highly appreciated by experts and the GrabFood user community - demonstrated through the quality of dishes, services and complete experience at the point of sale and on the application. Notable restaurants include Trang kitchen, Chay Ngoc Chi Restaurant, Co Cao kitchen, etc.
- The "Rising Star" category recorded 16 units with impressive growth rates, flexibility in operations and active innovation to adapt to market demand. Some notable representatives are Hai Coi, Banh Mi 365, Tuc Tac Tea, ...

Speaking at the event, Ms. Dang Thuy Trang, External Affairs Director of Grab Vietnam shared: "Culinary is an indispensable part of the travel experience. With the "Tru Danh" Da Nang Restaurant initiative, we are honored to accompany the Da Nang City Food and Culture Association to honor typical restaurants and eateries that are contributing to preserving and spreading indigenous culture. In addition to the award ceremony, Grab also organized a series of exciting experiential activities at APEC Park and Bach Dang walking street from August 1, 2025 to August 3, 2025. At the booth to enjoy famous dishes, people and tourists can easily order dishes from reputable restaurants and eateries through GrabFood and enjoy them right at the event. In particular, when entering the QUANTRUDANH code for an order from 80,000 VND, users will receive a 50% discount for a delivery to the event location.
While waiting for the dish, visitors can also participate in many entertainment activities such as decorating statues, painting specialties, taking photos at "The Wall of Honor" or enjoying performances on the main stage.
Previously, in April 2025, Grab coordinated with the Hue Department of Tourism to organize the Hue "Three-Following" restaurants awards ceremony, honoring 26 typical culinary establishments. The program has contributed to connecting culinary heritage with modern tourism experiences, while demonstrating the effectiveness of the public-private partnership model in promoting local culture.
