According to the forecast, the first affected districts include: Xin Man, Hoang Su Phi, which will then expand, causing thunderstorms in Vi Xuyen, Quan Ba, Quang Binh, Bac Quang districts and Ha Giang city
During thunderstorms, there is a risk of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. People need to be on guard against damage caused by roofs blown off, fallen trees, and power outages.
Highland areas, along rivers and streams may experience landslides or localized flash floods. The government recommends that people limit going out during thunderstorms, and proactively take response measures to reduce risks.
