2 shallots
2 cloves of garlic
1 lemongrass branch
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon fish sauce
1/2 teaspoon seasoning powder
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
2 tablespoons of cooking oil
How to do
Step 1: Pre-processing ingredients
First, wash the betel leaves and drain. Mince shallots, garlic and lemongrass.
Step 2: Marinate the meat
Put ground beef in a bowl with shallots, garlic, lemongrass, oyster sauce, fish sauce, seasoning powder and pepper. Then, mix well and leave for about 20 minutes for the meat to absorb the spices.

Step 3: Roll betel leaf spring rolls
Spread the dark green surface of the betel leaves down. Add a moderate amount of filling to the middle of the leaves and roll tightly, fold the two edges so that the filling does not fall out.

Step 4: Fry the spring rolls
Heat a pan with cooking oil. Then, arrange the betel leaf spring rolls in the pan, fry over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes. Turn all sides evenly until the betel leaves turn dark green and emit a characteristic aroma.

Take the spring rolls out onto a plate, serve hot with white rice or fresh vermicelli.
Beef betel leaf spring rolls have a soft, sweet, and rich filling, harmonizing with the very unique aroma of betel leaves, creating a rustic dish that brings rice.
