In the new episode of the show "You want to date", MC Quyen Linh and Ngoc Lan matchmake a couple living in Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Trong Hieu (36 years old), a freelancer, and Pham Thi Kim Thanh (30 years old), a customer service employee.
Right from the introduction, Trong Hieu impressed with a humorous poem that made the whole studio laugh.
He considers himself a family man, knows how to do housework, cook, does not drink alcohol or smoke.
He also shared that he had two relationships, but both ended badly. Trong Hieu joined the program with the hope of finding a stable, sincere girlfriend, over 1m55 tall and living in Ho Chi Minh City.
As for Kim Thanh, she has also been through two relationships, one of which lasted 7 years but ended because her boyfriend did not want to get married. After many years of not opening up, she came to the program to find a sincere, generous and financially independent man.
It was thought that their pairing would go smoothly, but surprisingly, Trong Hieu expressed his opinion on "dividing the love bill in half". He suggested that, out of three dates a week, he would invite them twice, and his girlfriend would invite them once. If the bill was too high, they would both split it.
He explained that, having experienced abandonment in the past when he could not continue to pay, he wanted a “fair” financial relationship.
This view made Kim Thanh uncomfortable. She expressed her dissatisfaction when she saw Hieu's indecisiveness and lack of his own opinion.
In the end, both refused to press the date button. Even though they could not become a couple, MC Quyen Linh still hopes that they will maintain their friendship.
