Storage dragon fruit at normal temperatures
Dragon fruit when stored at normal room temperature can last from 3 to 5 days. To store dragon fruit at regular temperatures, keep it in cool places and away from direct sunlight.
Store dragon fruit in the refrigerator
If you want to extend the shelf life, store dragon fruit in the refrigerator. This storage method is very simple, you can use a dragon fruit wrapper, then put it in a zip bag or plastic box and put it in the refrigerator. This method will extend the dragon fruit's usage period to about 1 week.

In case you want to extend the shelf life longer, you can apply the method of freezing dragon fruit. To freeze dragon fruit, do the following steps:
- Step 1: Peel and cut the dragon fruit into small pieces.
- Step 2: Arrange the dragon fruit on a tray, with a candle cover and put it in a stone apartment for about 4-5 hours to freeze each piece first.
- Step 3: Take out the tray, put the dragon fruit in a zip bag or plastic box and continue to store it in a stone storage compartment.
Providing individual freeze in pieces will avoid the situation where dragon fruit easily sticks to pieces, leading to difficulty in removing them when needed.
Some notes when preserving dragon fruit
- Do not wash before storage because this can cause dragon fruit to quickly spoil and rot.
- Do not put fruits such as bananas, papaya, etc. next to them.
- Regularly check if the dragon fruit is damaged or not to be able to handle it promptly, to avoid affecting other fruits or other foods in the refrigerator.
