According to the revelation of the two artists Phi Phung and Phuong Dung, Ngoc Tam Tam has been active in the water-capped field since she was a child, singing with artists Thanh Xuan, Huu Loi, Minh Phung...
In a conversation with artist Phi Phung's group, Ngoc Tam Tam honestly shared: "In the past, my family was so poor, I just went to provincial youth unions to earn money for my family."
Having gone through an unfinished marriage with her husband who also sang in a choir, now Ngoc Tam Tam lives alone in her old age. Previously, she worked as a street vendor in Long An, but because she did not have a fixed place, her job also encountered many difficulties.
After that, the female artist moved to Binh Duong to live, then moved to Ho Chi Minh City, temporarily living in a small hut in a parking lot, covered with tarpaulins. Seeing the difficult circumstances of the female street artist, Phi Phung's group could not help but feel heartbroken.

Ngoc Tam Tam said that this room was rented for 500,000 VND/month, which was the place where she lived. She kept the performance items in plastic bags, and had to borrow her beds to make it more convenient for her daily activities. Up to now, the female artist has been here for about 5 months. She choked up as she recalled her life: Many times when I go perform, the rain get wet. Even if the snake comes in, I am very scared, but if not here, where should I be now?
A hard life makes the female artist lacking everything. She said that sometimes she doesn't eat rice and has to eat instant noodles all day. Many people say I am trying to find a house to rent. But the rental house is now nearly 2 million VND a month, so I don't dare. I just stay here, I can still try for hundreds of thousands of years, the voice confided.
Referring to the stage, artist Ngoc Tam Tam shed tears and shared: "I'm old now but I still love the job. If someone calls me to sing, I call a motorbike taxi and go. It's a great thing to sing only 2-3 times a month, because I have money for medicine. Now every time I move, I get a headache, and the disease gets worse.
When Phuong Dung and Phi Phung shared the story of artist Ngoc Tam Tam, many audiences also felt sorry for her fate in the late afternoon.
