The groom's family is Le Van Thuan (42 years old), currently living and working in agriculture in Lam Dong. Previously, he used to work as an office worker in Dong Nai, but then decided to go to the Central Highlands to start a business with a model of growing pepper, rubber... on an area of about 3 hectares.
Appearing on stage, Mr. Thuan created a good impression with his simple appearance and calm conversation. He considers himself a gentle, hardworking person, does not smoke, does not gamble, limits alcohol and always puts family first.
However, his love story has moved many viewers.
Mr. Thuan said that he had a marriage lasting nearly 9 years and had a son. The incident happened when his wife was seriously ill. After a long period of treatment, she passed away at the end of 2022.
Recalling that time, he admitted that he had to face a lot of pressure. Not only suffering the pain of losing a loved one, he also had to shoulder the economic burden after years of putting all his financial resources into his wife's treatment.
That time was very difficult. After my wife passed away, I had to both overcome sadness and focus on doing business again," he shared.
Currently, his 10-year-old son is living and studying in Ho Chi Minh City with relatives to have better learning conditions. Although working in Lam Dong, he still regularly arranges time to visit his son.
On the other side of the love fence is Thao Ngan (33 years old), working as a document officer for a transportation company in Ho Chi Minh City. She currently lives with her parents and her own daughter who is over 3 years old.
Unlike the groom's family, Thao Ngan once went through an incomplete marriage. She said she met her ex-husband through social networks and only met him directly twice before deciding to get married.
At that time, because she had turned 30 and had not had any serious relationships, she thought she was ready to build a family. However, after living together, differences in personality began to appear.
According to Thao Ngan, she is a person who likes to sit down to chat and resolve conflicts. Meanwhile, her ex-husband is quite hot-tempered and somewhat patriarchal. Prolonged disagreements caused both to decide to divorce when they already had children together.
Although her marriage broke down, Thao Ngan believes that it was an experience that helped her mature more in life.
Entering the live chat section, the two quickly found many similarities. Thao Ngan said she wanted to find a man who is moral, lives kindly, faithfully, knows how to care for his family and has a clear orientation for the future.
For his part, Mr. Thuan affirmed that what he needs most from his partner is empathy and the ability to build a sustainable home together.
Although geographical distance is an obstacle when one person lives in Ho Chi Minh City and the other works in Lam Dong, both believe that the most important thing is still sincerity and suitability in thinking.
Love has no distance. The important thing is whether two people really want to be together or not," Mr. Thuan shared.
In the exchange about marriage views, the groom's family said that he values respect, loyalty and hopes that husband and wife can share all issues in life instead of arguing or imposing.
Mr. Thuan's sincerity and composure quickly received sympathy from the bride's family. Thao Ngan also agreed with the view of building a family based on mutual understanding and listening.
At the end of the program, Thao Ngan was the one who actively pressed the button to agree first. Not long after that, Mr. Thuan also made a similar choice, helping both officially give each other a chance to get to know each other.
