Newborn baby girl found abandoned on the roadside in Lao Cai

    Lao Cai - Bat Xat Commune Police have received a case of a newborn baby abandoned on the side of the road in the commune.

    Accordingly, at 6:30 a.m. on July 21, Ms. Vang Thi Lien and Ms. Lu Thi Hoa (a resident of village 1, Bat Xat commune, Lao Cai province) were on their way from Kim Thanh wharf in Lao Cai ward to their home in village 1, when they arrived at Lang Hang village, Bat Xat commune, when they discovered a baby girl wrapped in a towel and left in an lane on the edge of the road.

    At the time of discovery, there was a piece of paper in the lane with the content: "The family is not eligible to raise the baby, I hope who can pick up the baby to raise the baby".

    As soon as they discovered it, Ms. Lien and Hoa took the baby to the Bat Xat Commune Police Station to report the incident.

    Bat Xat Commune Police took the child for a health check and reported to Bat Xat People's Committee about the above incident for coordination in resolving the matter.

    Currently, her health has gradually stabilized.

    It is known that Ms. Vang Thi Lien (the person who discovered the abandoned baby) and her husband Truong Van Quyet want to adopt and take care of the baby.

    Bat Xat Commune Police have handed over the baby to Bat Xat Regional General Hospital and Vang Thi Lien and Truong Van Quyet temporarily take care of the baby girl while verifying her identity.
