On May 13, the Department of Health of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province issued a document directing health sector units to clarify the content posted on social networks that attracted public attention.
In particular, the Department of Health requested inspection, professional department ... to hold back information, contact the place where the information is started to verify and clarify. According to the health sector, the reason should be clarified because the information posted is related to the medical facility in the area, and there are signs of violating the Marriage and Family Law.
Previously, information spread on social networks about a man who had a minor traffic accident but was unconscious due to alcoholism, and was helped to be taken to the hospital for emergency care. When contacting the victim's family, according to the names on the list as "wife" and "sister-in-law", both the wife and the lover went to the hospital together.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Tan Phuc (member of SOS 72 club - providing free emergency emergency support) said that this is a story shared based on an incident from many years ago.
Last week, some members of the club, quite tired after supporting many accidents, posted stories to create a humorous atmosphere - and unexpectedly it spread on social networks.
"There are other websites that take back content, edit and then add photos created from AI technology, but still record the source from the club. This has caused many people to misunderstand the content posted by the club," said Mr. Phuc.
Mr. Phuc also said that he has not received an invitation to work for verification from the health sector, but will be ready to coordinate with the authorities to clarify.
