Ha Tinh - Heavy rain and strong winds on the night of May 10 and early morning of May 11 caused hundreds of hectares of rice in many districts, towns and cities in Ha Tinh to collapse, affecting productivity.

On the morning of May 11, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters recorded that in many fields in Thach Ha district, Cam Xuyen, Ha Tinh city... many rice fields fell.

In particular, in addition to the rice fields that are about to ripen, some rice fields are still green, which will affect productivity. For rice that is about to ripen, it will cause difficulties in harvesting.

According to the forecast of the Ha Tinh Hydrometeorological Station, in the coming days, the province will continue to have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms.

To minimize damage to productivity and quality of the spring rice crop, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ha Tinh province recommends that the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities guide and urge people to rebuild/re-grow fallen rice fields that are still green.

For areas that have ripened or are about to ripen, taking advantage of favorable weather, harvest quickly to limit damage.
