Mr. D grew up in a family of 6 siblings. Currently, Mr. D lives with his biological parents and the small family of his younger brother named C.
The reason for the arguments and what made Mr. D upset was that his younger brother and his wife did not help with the family's living expenses. "The electricity and water bills... were all shouldered by my wife and I," said Mr. D.
Feeling resentful for having to support his parents and younger brother's family alone, Mr. D expressed his wishes many times, hoping that his younger brother would support him with living expenses, but all were in vain.
Unable to “fight”, Mr. D’s family “packed up” and moved out. Not long after, Mr. D was overjoyed when his parents contacted him and offered to give him a small piece of land behind the house. Not long after building and living in the new house, Mr. D’s parents “changed their minds” and decided to take back the house because they had not agreed to give him the land.
“My husband and I were so happy when our parents told us they were going to give us the land that we didn’t think about having to sign the transfer papers. We then rushed into borrowing money at high interest rates to build the house, the total construction cost was up to 800 million VND,” Mr. D said indignantly.
In addition to the pressure from his parents, his younger brother also constantly put pressure on Mr. D. Because he could not bear it, his family continued to move out to live. During that time, Mr. D rented out the house to customers to earn more income. Mr. D said: “In addition to doing small business, I rented out the house to others to earn money to pay off debts. When customers moved in, my younger brother came over to cut off the electricity and water and started cursing, making them unable to bear it, so they decided not to rent. At that time, the debt was piling up, the interest was piling up, so I let my child drop out of school.”
Out of frustration with his younger brother's actions, Mr. D decided to return home with the hope of taking back the house. After a while of arguing, Mr. D and his younger brother got into a fight.
Before Mr. D's story, director Le Hoang analyzed: "Usually parents have reasons for their actions. Why in a family, they defend your younger brother but not you. If they were sitting here, they would probably give reasonable reasons."
When Mr. D admitted that he was hasty in not making the transfer papers and transferring the land title but hastily borrowed 800 million VND to build a house, director Le Hoang expressed his doubts: "I tell you the truth, 8 million or 80 million VND is said to be hasty, but using 800 million to build a house in haste is unbelievable. In fact, this is a very large amount of money and you have to borrow it."
Not only that, the 6X male director also expressed his indignation when Mr. D revealed that, during a conflict with his younger brother, Mr. D accidentally pushed his biological mother to fall. The male director expressed: “It is clear that you are legally wrong to build a house on land that you do not own. You continue to say that your parents defend your younger brother, but if they do not defend you, there is a reason. Most parents in the world are fair, either defending the weak or defending the younger. Parents all have their reasons, they are not crazy, they gave birth to you, not picked you up on the street.”
From the story of Mr. D, the house dispute led to conflicts and fights between brothers in the family, director Le Hoang warned: "Because of money, many people act inhumanely. I'm not talking about you, I'm just saying that this story is very dangerous, disputes over money have happened a lot and have broken up many families, broken relationships between husband and wife, siblings...".
