Talking to director Le Hoang, Ms. B shared that her husband had been working on Phu Quy Island for a while. She began to suspect when she accidentally heard a strange woman's voice in a call.
On her husband's birthday, Ms. B quietly went to the island to surprise him, but found him living with another woman. Unable to control her emotions, she got into a fight with this person.
However, her husband's cold reaction made her depressed: "You stop, I'm so bored with you. She always thinks only of herself. hurt by her words, Ms. B quietly returned to Ho Chi Minh City and wrote a divorce petition. However, her husband begged and she was heartbroken.
Not long after, her husband's lover proactively contacted and sent an intimate clip with the confirmation that she was pregnant. Husband admitted and asked to let them live together. Because she loved her husband and child, Ms. B agreed. For 6 months, the three lived together in a rented apartment in Ho Chi Minh City. "I slept separately so that my husband and her could sleep together. She calls him her husband, but I only call him by name. When her husband was away from home, she was wrongly accused by a "third party", who told her to look after her child and consider her as a domestic domestic domestic domestic helper.
Ms. B chose not to tell her family because she was afraid they were worried, only sharing a little with close friends to ease their sadness. After a period of suffering, she decided to leave her suffocating marriage, leaving her husband and her lover together. She went out to live separately, found peace through going to the pagoda and opening her heart to new relationships.
What stunned director Le Hoang was Ms. B's calm attitude, not complaining, not being angry, but just accepting. She also thought that she was not worthy of her husband. Ms. B affirmed that she was not financially dependent, nor felt too much love for her ex-husband, but simply was an introverted, less sharing, child-loving person and did not want to have children at that time.
After hearing the story, director Le Hoang frankly commented that this was a rare situation: I am not bad, not poor, nor infertile. I don't understand why you accept that. I think your privacy should not be disclosed because it will not be profitable. And sometimes your new husband will know and feel uncomfortable. In times when the rice is not healthy, the soup is not sweet, people can bring up old stories to say, causing her hurt.
Life has things that should be buried tightly. That was my choice, I respected it but I didn't agree, because I found it strange. However, I understand partly because I love children, live a simple life and have a kind heart".
