On April 3, the movie "geopolitics: Sun in the dark" earned nearly 12 billion VND after early screenings, according to Box Office Vietnam. The work of director Bui Thac Chuyen officially premiered on April 4.
The film brings together a famous cast, in which Thai Hoa plays the role of Bay Theo - the captain of the campaign team, while Ho Thu Anh plays the role of Vice President Ba Huong.
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, actress Ho Thu Anh said she was both happy and pressured when she heard the news of acting with Thai Hoa in "Tunnel: Sun in the dark".
Talking about the process of working with Thai Hoa, actress Thu Anh commented: "Thai Hoa plays the captain, and I play the vice captain, so I interacted many times. I feel very lucky to have been instructed by Mr. Hoa and kindly helped. To me, Mr. Hoa is a great actor. I grew up more when acting with Thai Hoa, because he always had the energy to urge me to act appropriately.
Not only Mr. Hoa but the entire film crew were close to each other as a family. In half a year, the film crew and I have gone through real battles together. So after the film ended, we were still close, often went out and asked about each other."
Ho Thu Anh admitted that Thai Hoa has been an idol artist for a long time, so when working together, she cannot help but feel stressed and pressured.
Actress Thu Anh went through nearly 20 auditions to be chosen to play Ba Huong. She also lost about 8kg, practiced to increase endurance to increase her physical strength for the harsh filming process.
For Ho Thu Anh, the character Ba Huong is a special role with its own beauty. A role without careful makeup, every day on the carpets and made of mud and dirt on each hairline and nail.
Sharing about her most memorable memory, Ho Thu Anh said: After the film finished filming, I ate comfortably and gained 7kg during Tet. But immediately after that, the film crew announced the shocking news that some scenes needed to be filmed within another week, I was shocked and didn't believe it was true.
Immediately, I planned to lose weight and lose 6kg in just 1 week. I really haven't eaten anything to lose weight during that time. Now thinking back, I don't feel it was a difficulty but a source of pride for me to try my best to give my all to the role."
