On the evening of June 20, a special art program to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21,25 - June 21, 2025) took place at the Hanoi Opera House.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association and many leaders, representatives of ministries, departments, branches...
With many outstanding performances, the program is like an artistic epic recreating the history of a century of the Vietnamese revolutionary press; the journey of fighting and serving generations of Vietnamese journalists.

Special art program to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day directed by People's Artist Tran Binh. Meritorious Artist Quynh Trang, Director of the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater, directs the art.
With a duration of 60 minutes, the program consists of 4 chapters: Chapter I: Starting - The foundation of hundreds of years of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism; Chapter II: The fierceness of national defense resistance - Dedication and dedication of revolutionary journalism; Chapter III: gratitude; Chapter IV: The era of rising up - Prosperity, power, journalism accompanying the nation.
Works praising the homeland and the Vietnamese revolutionary press such as "The Song of the Fire Speck", "The most beautiful Ho Chi Minh in the People's Name", "Proud of My Journalism", "Our Journalism", "C continue writing the story of peace"... were performed by many artists such as People's Artist Quoc Hung, People's Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Trong Tan, Dao To Loan, Khanh Ngoc, Viet Danh, Xuan Hao; groups: Thoi Gian, Phuong Nam; along with a dance group and a choir from the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater.

In the history of Vietnamese journalism, since the 60s of the 19th century, a number of other newspapers have been born in Saigon, Hanoi and a few other localities. But Thanh Nien Newspaper has opened a new press line, Vietnamese revolutionary press.
Thanh Nien Newspaper raised the revolutionary flag, spoke out the will and aspirations of the Vietnamese people and clearly pointed out the direction of the Vietnamese people's struggle for independence, freedom and socialism.
With that meaning, the Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam issued Decision No. 52 dated February 5, 1985, taking June 21 every year as Vietnam Press Day to enhance the role and social responsibility of the press, strengthen the relationship between the press and the public, and strengthen the Party's leadership over the press.
On June 21, 2000, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Vietnam Press Day, at the request of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Politburo and the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam agreed to call Vietnam Press Day the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

This art program aims to express the significance, stature, value and great contributions, completing the glorious mission of Vietnamese revolutionary press; demonstrating the role of the press in always accompanying the revolutionary path of the Party and Uncle Ho, with the glorious history of struggle in the history of building and defending the country of the nation.
The performances were elaborately staged, honoring the achievements of 100 years of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, with the message of forever being a kind heart, a pen-and- say.
Through the program, propagating to all classes of people about love for the homeland, the country, love for the profession, and the pride of journalists, worthy of being one of the pioneering, sharp-weaped shock forces on the ideological and cultural front of the Party; honoring the contributions of the Vietnamese revolutionary press to the country's development achievements in all fields.
