According to Korean media, a Chinese influencer ( social media influencer) recently caused controversy after acting like Rose (Blackpink) at a fan event.
An event to honor Rose has been held since early December in Chengdu, China. The event is designed to display many products related to Rose and has themed photography areas, completely revolving around the image of the Korean singer.
However, controversy broke out when a Chinese influencer named Daisy was invited to attend the closing ceremony of the event.
Throughout the program, MCs at the venue introduced Daisy in a way that made her look like the main character of the event.
The videos and photos that later went online showed that the girl was enthusiastic about taking photos with Rose's fans, even signing official products related to Rose. This action was considered by many fans to be loaded.
The wave of criticism became even more harsh when Daisy's style and outfit were very similar to Rose's signature fashion aesthetics. The online community accused Daisy of deliberately imitating her idol and taking the spotlight at an event not for her.

In response to the objection, Daisy posted a statement on social media. She said: "After seeing the controversies, I felt I needed to clarify." According to Daisy, she was invited to attend an event by the shopping mall and all activities were agreed upon in advance with the organizers.
Daisy emphasized: "All my actions are to promote Rose and I do not accept any remuneration."
Daisy also acknowledged the concern from fans and added: I completely understand that Rose and her fans always have to be the center. If any of my actions are considered inappropriate, I will sincerely accept it and be more cautious in the future.
Despite the explanation, negative opinions towards Daisy have not subsided. Many fans continue to express their discomfort, saying that admiring and imitating idols needs to have a clear line.
One comment said: "There is a big difference between being just a fan and trying to take the spotlight." While others assert, this influencer's behavior seems to be to promote himself rather than truly supporting the artist.
The incident sparked debate surrounding brand image control, fandom sensitivity, and the risks of bringing online celebrities to artist-centric events.
Especially for Kpop fan communities, they always pay attention to protecting the image and space of their idols.
