Dang Hong Hai is the only Vietnamese contestant to attend the live show, while Boys planet is produced by Mnet. He and nearly 100 trainees from many countries such as Korea, Japan, China, Thailand... will compete for a debut spot with the band.
Sharing about himself, Hong Hai clearly shows his passion for music. He especially loves artists such as TXT, Jennie (Blackpink), singer Duyen Quynh.
He has made many changes and improvements compared to 2 years ago, determined to be in the debut lineup after being eliminated in the Boys planet 2023 season. Hong Hai also received the attention of Korean and international audiences.
The previous season, Hong Hai and Thanh Cong were the two Vietnamese contestants who registered. However, Hong Hai stopped at 28th place despite being assessed to have a bright appearance and a relatively good performance.
Dang Hong Hai was born in 2003, 1.81m tall but is nicknamed Hai "dun". He is fluent in English, Chinese and Korean.
When he first moved to Korea, Dang Hong Hai was an trainee at Fantagio Company - the management company of Astro, Weki Meki, Ong Seong Wu...
After that, Hong Hai moved to Dongyo Entertainment. Up to now, he has had 6 years of training in a harsh entertainment environment, cherishing the dream of debuting in a Kpop group.
In early February 2024, Hong Hai and 2 members of DKZ participated in Seoul Fashion Week.
Before going to Korea to pursue her passion, Hong Hai participated in many programs in Vietnam such as award-winning Heroes - talent search contest for children (2015) and The Voice Kids (2019) and on Dong Nhi's team - Ong Cao Thang.
Since childhood, Dang Hong Hai has had a handsome appearance, a powerful voice and has been highly appreciated in the programs he has participated in.
In 2023, he joined Boys planet after more than 3 years of training in the renowned extreme entertainment industry in Korea.
