According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh, the department has worked with Mercurytour Travel Company of Korea to discuss organizing tours associated with sports events in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province.
After the discussion, Mercurytour Travel Company of Korea plans to bring about 1,500 Korean tourists, including: professional athletes, tourists from Korea, Korean businessmen and workers in Vietnam to participate in the Ha Long Heritage International Marathon (Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2025).
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh said it is ready to coordinate with relevant parties in organizing tourism programs combined with participating in the race. Will discuss with accommodation establishments and tourism services of tourist areas and destinations to meet the needs of tourists for accommodation and travel; coordinate with the tournament registration unit to implement related contents.
According to the plan, the 2025 Ha Long Heritage International Marathon will be held in November 2025 with 15,000 participants.
Quang Ninh identifies that sports events and activities are always a priority of the province to attract tourists to Quang Ninh.
