Specifically, Kim Soo Hyun sold a Galleria Foret apartment for 8 billion won. He previously bought the apartment in 2014 for 3.02 billion won. After 11 years, Kim Soo Hyun earned nearly 5 billion won.
The sale contract was signed on June 27. Because the time to sell the apartment was right after many brands filed lawsuits against Kim Soo Hyun for compensation for advertising contracts, after his love scandal with the late actor Kim Sae Ron, rumors appeared that Kim Soo Hyun sold one of his apartments to get money immediately.
But according to Dispatch's investigation, this is not a "selling off", but has been planned for a long time. Kim Soo Hyun has planned to sell the apartment since last year, the buyer has been identified, only the time to sign the official contract has recently taken place.
Kim Soo Hyun still owns 2 other apartments in the Galleria Foret area, bought in 2013 for 4.02 billion won and in 2023 for 8.8 billion won.
In particular, the apartment purchased in 2013 is temporarily frozen (border) due to a lawsuit by a company that signed an advertising contract with Kim Soo Hyun, demanding compensation for damages of 3 billion won.
At the time, Kim Soo Hyun's legal representative stated, "The damages Claims of some companies were based on false allegations made by Youtube channel Garosero, so we cannot accept compensation based on both legal and contracting grounds."
In March this year, YouTube channel Garosero headed by Kim Se Ui accused Kim Soo Hyun of dating Kim Sae Ron since she was a minor, based on documents provided by Kim Sae Ron's family.
However, Kim Soo Hyun denied the information, claiming that the two had only been dating for about a year, when Kim Sae Ron was old enough to mature.
Kim Soo Hyun's side is in the process of filing 7 lawsuits through the Gangnam Police Department. The lawsuit includes defamation against Kim Se Ui, Kim Sae Ron's family, and the person who claimed to be Kim Sae Ron's aunt, demanding 12 billion won in damages.
But Dispatch said that the investigation process has not progressed, and the accused have not even been summoned for questioning.
