At the recent Disney+ Originals Preview 2025 event held in Hong Kong (China), actors Lee Dong Wook, Kim Hye Joon and director Lee Kwon attended to introduce part 2 of the series A shop for killers.
Last year, The Shoper Store aired and became the most watched original Korean drama on Disney+ worldwide.
Lee Dong Wook said that he did not expect the film to be so successful. Thanks to the explosion of the first part, the production of the second part was boosted.
However, Lee Dong Wook also admitted: I felt more pressure. Because season 1 is very popular, I think season 2 must achieve or surpass that level of popularity.
Especially as a director, he has to take on both the task of writing scripts for new plots and directing filming, so the burden will certainly be huge. I have tried to support him as much as possible.
Regarding the shocking ending of part 1, when the character Jung Jin Man played by Lee Dong Wook was thought dead but was still alive, the actor shared: In part 2, the secrets that people are curious about Jin Man will be revealed. The action scenes will be more attractive, intense and bold.

Regarding the possibility of producing part 3, Lee Dong Wook humorously replied: Its not that we want to be. That is the responsibility of the Disney+ board behind. The most important condition is that the second part must be successful. I hope the second part will be a success.
Murder Shop is an action film, interwoven with the past love relationship between Ji An's niece (Kim Hye Joon) and her uncle Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook), and exposes the underground world network MurtheHelp - a dark web market for murderers and weapons.
The film became famous for its fierce fighting, thrilling chase scenes, surprising plot details and director-name style like a game.
The mystery becomes more and more intense when Ji An, after her uncle's death, begins to face a dangerous world hidden behind her.
Murder Shop 2 is expected to air in 2026. This is expected to help Lee Dong Wook regain his reputation after a series of TV series that failed to achieve ratings.
Both of the films aired in 2025 starring Lee Dong Wook - Divorce Insurance and The Good guys - have disappointing ratings, reaching only 3.2%.
