According to Xports news, there are more and more incidents related to disorderly behavior by Kpop fans at public events, raising concerns about safety and facing criticism, not only from passersby but also from idols themselves.
On August 6, 80 contestants of Mnet's "Boys 2 planet" program performed the theme song "Hola Solar" during the break of the Doosan-LG Baseball match at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, Seoul (Korea).
However, the attention of the crowd quickly shifted from the stage to the audience, when some fans had disruptive behavior.
According to witnesses and videos circulating online, some fans ignored the designated seats, passed the protective barrier to film for close-up footage and jostle in the performance area. These are actions that risk causing accidents.
There was even information that a fan bit a security guard during the chaos, while others forced the security guard to lie on the ground. After the performance, many groups of people left without cleaning up the trash, further fuelling the wave of criticism.
This is not the first case. The airport has long endured similar chaos when celebrities appeared.
The crowd gathering to wait for their idols often leads to collisions between fans and security guards, causing controversy and disrupting the normal operation of the airport for passengers in general.
On August 7, SM Entertainment, the management company of NCT, spoke about the issue. The company said that crowd at domestic and international airports is causing disorder, and asked fans to limit excessive physical contact with idols, giving gifts or letters and filming.
Shockingly, the company revealed, "some people have interfered with artists' schedules by stealing personal information to change or cancel seats on flights." The company warned that such acts could lead to legal action because they hinder the artist's activities and would have to pay damages.

Earlier this year, BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) also encountered a similar problem during a trip abroad. Due to concerns about the safety of the crowd, he could not participate in the media photos taken at the airport.
After that, V declared: "The airport does not belong to us alone", directly mentioning the chaos and calling on fans to raise awareness.
The male singer suggested that fans re-run the "Purple Line" campaign - an initiative initiated by BTS fans in 2018, to create a safe path for BTS members at the airport, by using purple ribbon - the group's signature color.
V encourages fans to continue such voluntary efforts to help ensure safety and be able to interact more smoothly between fans and artists.
