In the new episode of the music talk show "The Seasons - Park Bo Gum's Cantabile", girl group I-DLE (formerly (G)I-DLE) appeared as special guests.
I-DLE members shared about their latest music product, and talked about changing their brand name after 7 years of operation.
In the interview, Park Bo Gum suddenly revealed that he is a fan of I-DLE and he often listens to their music while practicing.
When mentioning the recent renaming of (G)I-DLE to I-DLE, Park Bo Gum said, "renaming a group is not an easy task".
The leader of Soyeon explained, "To be honest, when we were preparing to debut, we thought the group name would be just I-DLE.
But then, after we started working, the articles kept mentioning us as (Girl) I-DLE or (G)I-DLE. Basically, we have always been I-DLE from the beginning."
Park Bo Gum was very impressed with their decision and also praised the way all the members participated in composing the group's latest album.
Soyeon confirmed, "This is the first album that all of us members have worked on together. I think we are the ones who write the best songs for our group."
Park Bo Gum revealed that one of the songs he often listens to when practicing is " Senorita" by I-DLE. In addition, the actor was impressed with the lyrics of the song "I'm the trend" and liked the song "Give Me Your".
Notably, Park Bo Gum confessed that he fell in love with the Minnie member, right from the first time he heard her sing.
Park Bo Gum shared, "We first met during the Music Bank world tour 2 years ago.
At that time, we performed "Remember Me". I play the piano and my friends sing (Minnie from I-DLE and Hanni from NewJeans).
We didn't have time to practice together, but when I heard Minnie's voice on screen, I was completely drawn."
Minnie is the lead singer of I-DLE - one of the most famous Kpop girl groups today, with many hits such as " Latata", "Tomboy", "Que encard", "Nxde"...
Minnie is also known as a close friend of Lisa (Blackpink) and has a "huge" family background in her home country of Thailand.
Her father was a former Vice President of the oldest bank in Thailand Siam, and he is currently the Chairman of the Bangkok branch of YMCA Thailand Group.
Minnie's mother is a piano artist and owns a luxury resort.
Meanwhile, Minnie's uncle is a famous piano artist, and the cousin of Minnie (uncle's wife), actress Pawongduen "Sugar" Yontararak, is the last granddaughter of the king of the Lanna Kingdom (current northern Thailand).
