On July 21, 2025, YouTube officially stopped supporting Top Trending and Trending Now lists - a feature launched in 2015 to list popular video content across the system.
According to YouTube's announcement, the system will no longer display the Top trending music chart.
With the mashup "Tuy am" - " Luc Hai Vi Vuong", Phuong My Chi and Kha Lau have topped the music trending list on YouTube Viet after 9 days of posting. However, July 21 was the last day to display this Top Trending.
In addition to this mashup, Phuong My Chi also appeared in 3 other music videos that were also in the Top 10 trending, including: The performance "I'll be there" at Em xinh say hi, "Vu truong co anh", "Bong phuong hoa" performed at Sing! Asia.
The top 10 trending also included "Ga san ca", "So tham", "Em chi la" all belonged to the performances of the members of Em xinh say hi.
In addition, B- Ray's "Safe Zone" and "Feel at Home" are also in the 6th and 8th positions of the Top 10.
The only international song to make the Top 10 was Blackpink's "Jump".
According to YouTube, the Top trends first launched in 2015 are divided into 4 small tabs (categories) including Latest, Music, Games and movies. After 10 years, the search trend of social media users has changed.
The number of visits to the Trending tab has decreased sharply in the past 5 years. Therefore, YouTube has moved to the YouTube Charts system - rankings by category: music, podcast, film trailer, continuously updated and expected to expand to other genres.
