“APT.” topped the global and European iTunes charts, and occupied the Top 1 iTunes in 51 regions.
“APT.” debuted at No. 8 on US iTunes, surpassing Jennie’s “Mantra” (No. 27), becoming the highest-charting debut by a female K-pop solo artist on US iTunes in 2024. Rose is also the first Asian female artist in history to debut directly into the Top 10 of this chart.
Rose and Bruno Mars co-wrote the song, which is based on a popular Korean drinking game called “Apartment.” The two artists decided to keep the Korean pronunciation of the game “apateu” to create a unique and respectful take on the game’s roots.
"APT." is the lead single from Rose's first studio album “Rosie,” which is set to be released on December 6.
