The media reported that actor Li Uy became a suspect in the murder of a woman in a monastery in Taiwan (China). The incident shocked China, appearing on social media platforms.
Accordingly, a woman went to a monastery to study, but after 2 months, this person passed away with many wounds on her body. At the same time, nearly 2 million TWD (1.5 billion VND) in the account of the 50-year-old victim also disappeared.
According to records, the monastery where the incident occurred was also the place where Ly Uy was practicing. Therefore, the police have summoned related people, including the actor of "The Fate Line". Initially, Ly Uy appeared as a witness, but after taking statements twice (each time lasting more than 4 hours), the incident had many new details.
The police discovered that Ly Uy was present at the time of the murder. He played a military role as a suggestion for the mastermind - writer Vuong On to commit a violation of the law.
Recently, the authorities announced that Vuong On had a personal conflict with the victim, so he incited 2 others to plan to beat and torture the victim without a camera to record.
In July 2024, Vuong On and a number of other subjects abused the victim, causing him to fall into a coma and die on the spot. After the victim died, the group took away 2 million TWD (about 1.5 billion VND) from their account.
Regarding the case, the authorities have arrested 7 out of 13 people. Ly Uy and his wife were also on the list, suspected of causing injury to the victim, contributing to the death of this person. Therefore, prosecutors and police searched the actor's residence.
Ly Uy was born in 1980, famous for her role as an actress from the period 2000-2010. He participated in many famous films such as "The Fate Line", "Love Football Park", "The Child from Paradise".
After retiring from showbiz, Ly Uy focused on business. Friends revealed that the actor's personality changed when he did not act in films, becoming less talkative and quiet.
