According to Korean media, fans are worried about the safety of V (BTS) during the group's upcoming world tour, after information has emerged that attracts attention related to threats that may target the male idol.
BTS is expected to start a global tour in April this year, starting from South Korea, then going through many countries to perform in front of foreign fans (ARMY).
However, posts spreading on social networks recently have raised concerns, when rumors appeared that a fan had threatening behavior and seemed to intend to harm V.
Fans following the livestream said that they have shared these worrying comments to warn the community, and many ARMY requested HYBE Corporation to take action to deal with the above threat.
In the posts, fans share information they have grasped, as well as links to report directly to HYBE, to ensure the company is aware of the seriousness of the problem.
This is not the first time a Kpop idol has faced the threat to life. Previously, Jennie (Blackpink), Winter (aespa), Baekhyun (EXO), Taeyeon (SNSD) and many other artists had received threatening letters, even public death threats through social networks.
Especially for BTS - one of the most fan-populated Kpop groups in history - the issue of safety of members must be given even more attention.
BTS's youngest member Jungkook is one of the idols who was repeatedly threatened with safety by die-hard fans and tried to break into her private house.
Meanwhile, BTS will officially reappear with a full 7-member squad on March 20, through the studio album "Arirang".
According to the management company BigHit Music, BTS's subsequent tour will cover 23 countries and territories with a total of 79 shows - this is the "huge" tour scale among all Kpop artists to date.
