Singer and actress YoonA (member of SNSD) is returning to work enthusiastically on screen. She starred in two projects, the movie Pretty Crazy (Vietnamese title: Em xinh tinh kia) which will be released on August 13 and the TV series Bon Appetit, Your Majesty which will air on August 23.
The male lead role of the movie Pretty Crazy was initially given to Kim Seon Ho. However, the actor turned down this role due to a scandal involving his ex-girlfriend. After that, Ahn Bo Hyun was chosen to replace Kim Seon Ho who paired with YoonA.
Similarly, in tvN's upcoming drama " Bon Appetit, Your Majesty", the media announced that YoonA will co-star with actor Park Sung Hoon.
But in January this year, Park Sung Hoon withdrew from this film project, after being criticized for posting sensitive images on his personal page related to the film Squid Game.
The producer of Bon Appetit, Your Majesty has chosen actor Lee Chae Min to replace Park Sung Hoon.
Regarding the fact that the male lead role in projects is constantly changing, YoonA said she does not care too much about that and focuses only on her role.
I personally focus more on thinking about my character. These are projects that I spent a lot of time finding the best way to perform the role. So, amid all the things that happened to the initial male leads, I still think I should focus on doing well in my role.
Luckily, all my new co-stars are really breathing life into their characters and are very compatible with them, so I feel happy and grateful, YoonA said.

Meanwhile, the movie Pretty Crazy attracted attention because it was a reunion of YoonA with director Lee Sang Geun - who directed Exit starring YoonA and Jo Jung Suk.
Exit is one of the highest-grossing Korean films of 2019, with 69.5 million USD worldwide.
Pretty Crazy is expected with a story that blends humorous and horror elements. The film revolves around Gil Goo (Ahn Bo Hyun), an unemployed guy who takes a strange job of looking after a woman named Seon Ji (YoonA) - who turns into a devil every night.
According to the director, he spent 3 years working post-production after completing filming in 2022. However, compared to 6 years ago (when Exit was released in theaters), Pretty Crazy was a child that made him unable to hide his excitement, because he was curious about how the audience would receive the work.
