The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just reported on the organization of studying regulations and completing exam procedures (morning of May 29) for the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year.
According to the Department's report, this year there are 224 exam sites in the city; number of non-specialized exam rooms: 5,300; number of reserve exam rooms: 385.
Number of officials, teachers, and staff present: 17,803/17,816, reaching a rate of 99.93% (the absent invigilators at the exam site have been arranged with backup teachers to replace them to ensure compliance with the Exam Regulations).
Number of candidates present: 123,467/124,082, reaching a rate of 99.50% (615 candidates absent because candidates can be determined to go to vocational school, private school...).
A total of 5 candidates need support to take the exam due to health problems and need medical support.
Regarding the situation at the exam sites, the facilities serving at the exam sites are fully prepared according to regulations.
100% of exam sites have received full supplies from the Department of Education and Training.
100% of exam sites have coordinated with security forces and police to fully prepare plans to ensure safety and security in the exam site and the area outside the exam site gate; each exam site has 1 backup generator.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has directed to strengthen measures to ensure security and safety at exam sites (rooms, cabinets for storing exam papers and exam questions; security camera systems; personnel...), the preservation of personal belongings of candidates, food safety and hygiene assurance plans, coordination in traffic diversion, storm and flood prevention...
