On the morning of May 14, at the regular meeting of the Provincial People's Committee in May 2025, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan awarded a Certificate of Merit to Nguyen Cong Vinh, grade 12 Ly, Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, who won the Gold Medal in the 2025 Asian Physics Competition.
Previously, for 2 consecutive years, Nguyen Cong Vinh won the first prize in Physics at the National High School Excellent Student Selection Competition for the 2023 - 2024 and 2024 - 2025 school years.
In which, in the 2024 - 2025 school year, he won the national valedictorian prize with 35.75 points. In addition, Nguyen Cong Vinh also won the European Physics Bronze Medal in 2024.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan congratulated the outstanding achievements of Nguyen Cong Vinh, Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted and the Department of Education and Training of the province.
At the same time, affirming that in addition to the efforts of the students themselves, this excellent achievement shows that the training system of all levels of education and spearhead training in Bac Ninh is on the right track, creating talents for the province and the country.
From 2021 to present, Bac Ninh province has had 23 students participating in regional and international Olympic competitions, of which 18 students won prizes.
In the context of Bac Ninh province strongly implementing the contents of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan suggested that the collective of cadres, teachers and students of Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted maintain the brand as an outstanding local specialized school, continue to train and foster talented students to contribute talent to the country.
At the same time, I hope that Nguyen Cong Vinh will continue to review and practice to achieve the best results at the International Physics Olympic Competition held in France in July.
