The deadline for issuing high school diplomas is a question that many people are interested in and questioning to the Ministry of Education and Training.

Sending a question to the Ministry of Education and Training, Ms. Lac Dung asked: "Will high school graduates get an official diploma after 75 days or after 1 year? I see some schools get it early, but some schools have to wait until next year?".

The Ministry of Education and Training answers this question as follows:

Article 15 of Circular No. 21/2019/TT-BGDĐT dated November 29, 2019 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the Regulation on management of secondary school diplomas, high school diplomas, pedagogical intermediate diplomas, pedagogical college diplomas, university education diplomas and certificates of the national education system stipulates that the Director of the Department of Education and Training has the authority to issue high school diplomas.

Article 17 of Circular No. 21/2019/TT-BGDĐT stipulates that the deadline for issuing a high school diploma is 75 days from the date of the high school graduation recognition decision.

During the waiting period for the diploma to be issued, learners who are eligible for the diploma will be issued a temporary graduation certificate by the educational institution where they studied.
