In Decision No. 4428/QD-UBND dated November 27, 2024, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City decided to appoint Mr. Luu Thanh Tan, Vice Principal in charge of Hai Phong College of Economics to hold the position of Principal of Hai Phong College of Economics. The term of appointment is 5 years.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam said that Mr. Luu Thanh Tan is a well-trained official, has held many positions, always completed assigned tasks well, and was trusted by the city to be appointed to a new position. The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee asked Mr. Luu Thanh Tan to continue training, gathering the school's leadership and staff; coordinate with the city's departments, branches and sectors to complete assigned tasks well.
Previously, from April 2023, Hai Phong City announced the Decisions of the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on merging the Intermediate School of Agriculture and Fisheries into the Hai Phong College of Labor and Social Affairs and changing its name to Hai Phong College of Economics. Mr. Luu Thanh Tan - Vice Principal of Hai Phong College of Labor and Social Affairs was assigned the position of Vice Principal of Hai Phong College of Economics and assigned to be in charge of the school until the position of Principal is completed.
