2024 is the 5th consecutive year that Hai Phong Education Trade Union cooperates with the Department of Education and Training to organize the Contest "Teachers in my eyes".
Mr. Tran Van Thang - Chairman of the Hai Phong Education Trade Union said: Over the years, the contest has not only been a creative playground for students but also an opportunity for teachers to look back at themselves through the loving and respectful perspectives of their students. From 2020 to now, thousands of works have been submitted, telling hundreds of authentic, creative and touching stories, illuminating the image of teachers - the silent but extremely great "ferrymen".
This year’s works continue to highlight the sacrifices and resilience of teachers. From the challenges of their profession to the struggles of everyday life, the images of teachers emerge clearly in the role of both dedicated “ferrymen” and companions, guiding students through difficulties in their studies and lives. The Organizing Committee hopes that these good values will continue to spread widely, helping the image of exemplary teachers become a source of inspiration not only in schools but also in the community.
At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 24 A prizes, 33 B prizes, 33 consolation prizes, and 5 thematic prizes. In particular, the work “The Heart of the Fire-Lighter” by the group of authors from Vinh Niem Secondary School (Le Chan District) won the Excellent Prize of the contest with a touching story about teacher Nguyen Duc Toan and a student with special circumstances.
