According to the Director of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy, the academy has been included in the list of 5 key national schools. This requires the academy to continue to develop strongly, especially in the field of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy.
Three teachers in the field of Traditional Medicine and one teacher in the field of Medicinal Materials - Traditional Medicine are important factors for the upcoming development orientation. The Academy pays special attention to human resources, considering this a key factor. Functional units, especially the Department of Science and Technology, need to pay attention and support so that teachers have conditions to maximize their professional capacity" - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy said.
Regarding the national professional competency assessment exam for doctors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy said that according to the plan, from 2027, assessments will be implemented for four groups of doctors: Medical Doctors; Dental and Maxillofacial Doctors; Traditional Medicine Doctors and Preventive Medicine Doctors. In which, the Academy plays a leading role in the field of Traditional Medicine Doctors; assigned the task of being the focal point for building a set of tools to assess the professional competence of Traditional Medicine Doctors of the National Medical Council.
This is a great honor but also a heavy responsibility. The role of teachers in building a question bank, ensuring fairness, objectivity, transparency and correctly assessing candidates' abilities nationwide is extremely important" - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy expressed.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thu Van - Head of Phuong Te Department, in charge of the General Internal Medicine Department - Tue Tinh Hospital, one of the 4 teachers who were reappointed as associate professors - said that the members present at the ceremony were more deeply aware of their responsibilities in the assigned work, as well as always striving to live up to the expectations of teachers, leaders and generations of students.

Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thu Van committed that when receiving the decision to reappoint the title, she will continue to improve her sense of responsibility, constantly strive, further promote professional capacity, and contribute to further completing professional work, training and the cause of caring for and protecting people's health.
