Appointing Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien as Rector of Vinh University

Nghe An - Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien was appointed by the Ministry of Education and Training to hold the position of Rector of Vinh University, term of 5 years.

On June 4, information from Vinh University said that the Ministry of Education and Training has just decided to appoint Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien to hold the position of Rector of Vinh University.

According to Decision No. 1489/QD-BGDDT, the Minister of Education and Training appointed Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien to hold the position of Rector of Vinh University; the term of office is 5 years.

The decision was signed by Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son on June 2, 2026 and takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation.

According to the decision, the salary, allowances and other benefits of Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien are implemented according to current regulations of the State.

The Minister of Education and Training assigned the Chief of Office, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Director of the Department of Planning - Finance, Director of the Department of Higher Education, Rector of Vinh University, heads of relevant units and Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien to be responsible for implementing the decision.

Vinh University is one of the key higher education institutions in the North Central region, providing multidisciplinary and multi-field training, playing an important role in training human resources for Nghe An and provinces in the region.
