Exciting Final Night of Hanoi Student band Festival

7 teams of students from high schools in Hanoi had an emotional music performance night.

On the evening of April 28, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (DET) in coordination with Hanoi Radio and Television Station organized the final round of the 2nd Hanoi High School band/Group Festival - 2025 with the theme "Building a Happy School".

On stage, the students were confident in mastering the stage. The talent, professionalism, and confident demeanor of high school students are shown through each performance, bringing the audience many explosive, exciting and surprising emotions.

In the stands, there were the exciting cheers and cheers of students, parents, and teachers, creating an unprecedentedly vibrant atmosphere.

Nguyen Khanh An - an 8th grade student, along with 7 members of the TOS Band group (Olyma Inter-level School, Hanoi) had an impressive performance with 2 performances: Chua Chiec khan Pieu; Den Co Doi Thuong Ngan.

"I keep the role of drummer in the band. To create the performance like today, each position, each member is an important piece" - Khanh An shared.

Previously, in the Preliminary round, Khanh An's group performed the work "Chiec khan Pieu" and in the final round, the students transformed it into a concert instead of a sung sung sung sung sung sung as per the performance. The group spent more time practicing the performance Co du rau Thuong Duong.

Because members come from different blocks, the calendar changes, so members of the group practice whenever they have free time, even at noon. The most days, they practice together for 3 hours, even in the morning before taking the exam, this group of students still practice enthusiastically.

Tuong Vu Luong - the oldest member of the group, a 12th grade student, said that he was proud to have had a successful performance. The surprise and joy was that the group won the Special Prize at the Festival.

"It was a band, we played with the spirit of music. Music puts the first happy element. From the beginning, we came to the program with a spirit of learning. The award is no longer important and even without the award, we still learn a lot" - Luong shared.

In addition to TOS Band, the audience also listened to 12 diverse and unique performances from 6 bands/bands of schools including: Hanoi High School for the Gifted - Amsterdam, Binh Minh High School, Viet Duc High School, Phan Dinh Phung High School, Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Phan Huy Chu High School - Dong Da.

Mr. Tran The Cuong - Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training affirmed that the Hanoi High School band/Group Festival is a healthy playground, helping students maximize their musical abilities and abilities.

"This stage is for you! This light is for children! And the hottest applause will belong to you. No matter the result, they are the winners of their passion for music" - Mr. Cuong said.

Closing the Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 Special Prize, 2 First Prizes, 5 Second Prizes, 21 Third Prizes to bands/groups and awarded 6 Special Prizes to 6 individuals.

In which, the Special Prize went to the band/group from Olympia Inter-level School; 2 First Prizes went to the band/group from Olympia Inter-level School and the band/group from Viet Duc High School.

With the Special Prize, students of the TOS Band band will perform at the Ho Ngo International Music Festival 2025.
