Resolution 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development has set many important goals. This includes building and training human resources, especially high-quality human resources, to meet the requirements of Vietnam becoming a developing country with modern industry and high average income.
In Can Tho City, the Department of Education and Training of the City informed that in the period of 2025-2030, to continue promoting comprehensive digital transformation in education, meeting the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, the industry identifies improving digital capacity for teachers and students as one of the key factors.

Accordingly, it is necessary to build and implement a Digital Capacity framework for teachers at each level of education, organize training courses, foster skills to apply scientific and technological achievements for 100% of teachers and managers; Promote the "Digital education in civil affairs" movement in the whole industry, specifically, popularize basic digital skills for all teachers, students, including parents, so that everyone is ready to participate in the digital education environment; Effectively implement STEM/STEAM education models, include robot programming, apply AI in experiential activities for high school students to practice creative thinking and adapt to new trends.
Regarding this issue, on the afternoon of October 16, Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen also shared related information.
Mr. Tuyen said: "Can Tho has recently summarized important tasks, thereby assigning the Department of Education and Training of the City to submit to the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Can Tho City the Action Program and Plan to implement Resolution 71. On that basis, Can Tho will have a specific Project to implement a breakthrough in education and training development".
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City added that in fact, investment and development of human resources is also included in the Resolution of the 1st Can Tho City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Can Tho City identifies the first breakthrough as promoting the attraction, training and development of human resources, especially high-quality human resources; enhancing research and application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in all fields; promoting and expanding international cooperation to attract resources for socio-economic development and promote the image of Can Tho City in the region and internationally.
Regarding solutions, Can Tho City will continue to fundamentally and comprehensively innovate education and training, improve the quality of human resources such as: continue to review, arrange, and improve the quality of education and training in educational institutions; promote student orientation in general education; strengthen domestic and international cooperation and training linkages to train high-quality human resources to serve the development needs of the city and the region, etc.
Chairman of Can Tho Truong Canh Tuyen emphasized that the city is very interested in the field of education and training, especially human resource development. Because above all, this is a key factor in the development of Can Tho City towards an ecological, civilized and modern city from 2030, associated with the goal of being the center of the region in many fields, including the field of education and training, according to Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW dated August 5, 2020 of the Politburo.
