According to the enrollment schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates register and adjust their university aspirations until 5:00 PM on July 14.
At this time, many universities in Ho Chi Minh City have announced the admission score threshold (floor score) as a basis for students to register and adjust their aspirations.
Saigon International University (SIU) said that in 2026, the school will apply 3 admission methods for candidates nationwide, including: admission based on high school academic results (academic records), admission based on high school graduation exam results and admission based on competency assessment (CC) exam results organized by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
Accordingly, for the admission method based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam, candidates must have a total score of 03 subjects according to the admission combination of at least 15 points (according to the 30-point scale).
For the admission method based on the results of the Aptitude Test (AP) organized by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, candidates need to achieve 600 points or more (according to a scale of 1,200 points).
Regarding the admission method based on high school academic results (gradebook), candidates must have a total average score of 03 subjects according to the admission combination of academic results for the whole year of grades 10, 11, 12 reaching 18 points or higher.
The input quality assurance thresholds mentioned above are applied uniformly to all training majors and specializations of SIU, except for the Economic Law major applying input thresholds according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training for the group of legal majors.

According to regulations, the floor score is the minimum threshold for candidates to register for admission, not the admission benchmark score. The benchmark score will be announced by schools after completing the aspiration registration and admission process.
