In 2026, the University of Economics and Law enrolls regular university students using 2 methods, including: direct admission, priority direct admission and general admission.
For the combined admission method, the admission score is converted according to a 100-point scale, including academic scores (combined with high school graduation exam results, competency assessment exam results of Ho Chi Minh City National University and high school academic results), along with bonus points and priority points.
Accordingly, the floor score for 2026 of the school is 60 points (100 points scale), applicable to candidates in area 3 and without priority points added.
Note, for high school graduation exam scores, the total of 3 subjects according to the admission combination (excluding bonus points, regardless of the exam results of students studying the general education program in 2006 or 2018) must reach at least 15/30.
For transcript scores, each subject's score is calculated by the average of the subject's average score of all 6 high school semesters (1st semester and 2nd semester of grades 10, 11, 12).
For majors and specializations in the field of law, in addition to the condition of graduating from high school or equivalent and achieving at least 60/100 academic scores, candidates must also meet specific requirements according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
For combinations A00, A01, D07, X25 and X26, Math must reach 6.0 points or higher. For combination D01, both Math and Literature must reach 6.0 points or higher. At the same time, the total score of 3 high school graduation exam subjects according to the admission combination must reach at least 20/30 points.
It is expected that in the 2026-2027 school year, the tuition fee for the Vietnamese-language training program of the University of Economics and Law is 35.8 million VND/year. For programs taught in English or partially English, tuition fees range from 55-73.5 million VND/year, depending on the training program.
