More medical schools in Ho Chi Minh City announce minimum admission scores for 2026

Ho Chi Minh City - The floor score of the University of Health Sciences in 2026 ranges from 18-22 points, depending on the training major.

The Admissions Council of the University of Health Sciences (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) has just announced the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) for regular university according to the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.

Accordingly, the highest floor score is 22 points, applicable to the medical, medical (ordered) and dental and maxillofacial majors.

The two majors of Pharmacy and Traditional Medicine have a floor score of 20 points, while the major of Nursing has a score of 18 points.

Along with announcing the floor score, the University of Health Sciences also updated the weight in the score calculation formula of the combined admission method.

Accordingly, the admission score is calculated according to the formula:

General admission score = w1*THPT + w2*ĐGNL + w3*HB + Bonus points (if any) + Priority points (subjects, regions if any).

w1 = 30%; w2 = 50%; w3 = 20%.
