According to Mr. Tuan, there are currently 548 students at 4 schools including Tam Hop, Xop Nam, Pha Lom and Huoi Son secondary schools who have to temporarily take leave from school because teachers cannot move through the flooded overflow bridge area.
Although the students are at boarding schools, because the overflow bridge is flooded, teachers cannot come to school to organize teaching.
When the water recedes, teachers can move across the overflow bridge, the school will continue to organize normal teaching and plan to make up for teaching to ensure the curriculum for the students" - Mr. Tuan said.
Previously, according to a report by the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, on September 18, due to the impact of rain and floods, the whole province had 339 classes with 11,031 students who had to take leave from school.
