Cau Ong Lanh Ward: Supplementing 849 targets
Cau Ong Lanh Ward said that currently preschool, primary and secondary education institutions in the area still ensure full school places, most have semi-boarding services and are ready to receive students from neighboring wards.
In which, the Preschool block enrolls 380 quotas: Hoa Lan Kindergarten enrolls the most with 159 quotas. Next is 20/10 Kindergarten enrolling 98 quotas, Nguyen Cu Trinh Kindergarten enrolling 62 quotas and Co Giang Kindergarten enrolling 61 quotas.
Grade 1 Block (242 targets): Luong The Vinh Elementary School enrolls 102 targets (including 42 targets for the Integrated program and 60 targets for the mass program). Phan Van Tri Elementary School enrolls 90 targets (30 Integrated and 60 Advanced, integrated). Chuong Duong Elementary School enrolls 50 mass targets. Tran Hung Dao Elementary School alone no longer has additional targets.
Grade 6 block (227 targets): Duc Tri Secondary School recruits 117 mass targets; Minh Duc Secondary School recruits 80 targets (10 integrated, 70 mass); Chu Van An Secondary School recruits 30 mass targets.
Parents submit applications directly at the school with their wishes until July 30, 2026.
Phu My Ward: Supplementing 412 targets
The Phu My Ward Enrollment Steering Committee has also just issued a plan on mobilizing children to attend classes and supplementing enrollment in the first grades of the 2026-2027 school year.
Preschool block (310 targets): Phu My Kindergarten recruits 172 targets; My Xuan Kindergarten recruits 138 targets. Application submission time is before the opening day of the 2026-2027 school year for children in Phu My ward or adjacent communes and wards.
Grade 1 block (44 targets): Le Loi Elementary School enrolls 20 targets; Quang Trung Elementary School enrolls 14 targets; Nguyen Van Troi Elementary School enrolls 6 targets and My Xuan Elementary School enrolls 4 targets.
Grade 6 block (58 targets): Phu My Secondary School recruits 49 targets; Phan Boi Chau Secondary School recruits 9 targets.
The time to receive supplementary enrollment applications for Grades 1 and 6 in Phu My ward lasts until before July 31, 2026.
Tan Binh Ward: Assigning 257 targets for Preschool and Grade 1
Preschool block (187 targets): Bau Cat Kindergarten enrolls 100 children distributed to age groups from 19 months to La class and Kindergarten 13 enrolls 87 children (concentrated in the Preschool block with 40 children and the Choi block with 47 children).
Grade 1 block (70 targets): Son Cang Primary School enrolls 40 students and Than Nhan Trung Primary School enrolls 30 students.

From July 11, localities in Ho Chi Minh City simultaneously announced enrollment for the first grades of preschool, grade 1, grade 6 of the 2026-2027 school year. This year, enrollment is organized online, based on student identification codes.
The allocation of school places for students is implemented by Ho Chi Minh City not according to the administrative boundaries of the ward, but based on the main criteria being the current residence of students according to parents' VNEID, combined with GIS maps. Students are prioritized for allocated school places near their homes, creating convenience for student parents.
According to statistics from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, in the 2026-2027 school year, it is expected that more than 197,000 students will enter grade 1 and about 185,000 students will enter grade 6.
