On the evening of November 15, 2024, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training and Thien Long Group organized the program "Sharing with teachers" in 2024.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union said that the more society develops, the more the material and spiritual life of the people is improved, the more the tradition of respecting teachers is respected, preserved and promoted.
And the program "Sharing with teachers" is one of the programs that contributes to preserving and promoting that precious tradition, showing the gratitude of the young generation and of students towards their teachers.
"In today's program, we would like to express our gratitude to teachers working in remote areas, border areas, and islands; teachers teaching in specialized schools, teachers wearing green uniforms of the border guards, as well as teachers working at reformatory schools of the Ministry of Public Security.
"Teachers, despite facing countless difficulties and shortages, are still persistent and steadfast in cherishing every word, culture, and knowledge they impart to their students with all their love," emphasized Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam.
Representative of the co-organizer, Mr. Trinh Van Hao - Director of Communications and External Relations of Thien Long Group shared: "In 10 years, not only has it expanded geographically when honoring many different teachers in remote areas, but "Sharing with teachers" has also told profound stories about the hearts and determination of teachers.
From those humane and profound stories, the program honors the values of the teaching profession, encourages activities to show gratitude to teachers, and spreads the journey of happy teaching. For Thien Long, accompanying teachers and promoting their values is the way society cultivates sustainable seeds - the future generation of the country."
The 2024 "Sharing with Teachers" program selected 60 outstanding teachers to honor.
Sharing at the ceremony, teacher Dang Van Buu - teacher of Hung Phong Secondary School (Ben Tre) expressed his emotion when being one of 60 teachers honored. For teacher Buu, the pride he has is the affection from generations of students, which is also the motivation for him to stick with the profession.
"I teach with my mind, heart and love for my students. My happiness is not in eating well and dressing well, but in the maturity of my students. I always keep in mind that I must overcome difficulties in my locality and overcome my own adversity to stick with my profession and accompany my beloved students" - Mr. Buu was moved.
The honored teachers will receive a certificate of merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; a program logo and a savings book worth 10 million VND and many other valuable awards and rewards from the Ministry of Education and Training, and gifts from Thien Long Group.
