On November 14, the Department of Education and Training (DET) in coordination with the Hanoi Education Trade Union organized the 8th award ceremony of "Dedicated and Creative Hanoi Teachers" and the 5th contest "Teachers in My Eyes".
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, praised the teachers for their positive contributions to the capital's education; and said: "The most successful thing about the award is that it is not an evaluation to end a creative process, but it always reminds teachers not to stand still, and to know how to promote their strengths.
Teachers should be important factors contributing to the successful implementation of the movement "Schools join hands to develop - Teachers share responsibility", contributing to building happy schools, contributing with the whole industry in the process of making Hanoi a global learning city".
The award “Dedicated and Creative Hanoi Teachers” is organized to honor dedicated teachers who have made outstanding contributions to the emulation movement of innovation and creativity in learning; to care for and encourage teachers who have initiatives to overcome difficulties in school units.
The Council has judged, selected and approved 70 outstanding teachers to enter the final round of the "Dedicated and Creative Hanoi Teachers" Award.
The award brings together a large number of educational projects and initiatives.
A typical example is Ms. Le Thi Thanh Huyen (Chau Son Primary School, Ba Vi) who established a national English club, attracting more than 70,000 online teachers and 5,000 teachers to participate in direct professional training. Thereby, supporting students in the district and mountainous schools to access foreign languages.
Or Mr. Nguyen Huu Quyet (26 years old), the youngest teacher among 70 teachers who passed the final round with ideas of recycling and building a museum of school supplies from waste...
Regardless of age or field, teachers always try to contribute in unique and individual ways. The point that is highly appreciated this year is the practicality of the project at the schools themselves, creating creativity from difficult realities.
On this occasion, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training in coordination with the Industry Union also awarded the "Teachers in My Eyes" Contest 2024.
After 8 months of implementation, there were more than 1,000 entries at school, district, and town levels, and 418 outstanding entries were sent to the Industry Union to compete at the city level.
