Gia Lam District Labor Federation coordinated with the Department of Education and Training, the District Center for Culture, Information and Sports to organize the Cultural and Sports Festival for officials, teachers and employees of the district education sector in the 2024-2025 school year. This activity was organized to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Capital Education sector and the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.
428 athletes from 81 delegations from kindergartens, high schools, and junior high schools in the district participated in the competition and many officials, teachers, and staff from schools in the district enthusiastically cheered. The athletes participated in sports dance performances; competed in 3 sports including badminton, sack jumping, and tug of war.
The cultural and sports festival contributes to improving the overall quality of education and the spiritual life of teachers and staff. Thereby creating conditions for cadres, teachers and staff of units to exchange and develop their talents, contributing to enhancing solidarity and mutual understanding between colleagues inside and outside the school.
In Thach That, the District Labor Federation coordinated with the Department of Education and Training, the District Center for Culture, Information and Sports to organize the Sports Festival of the Education and Training Sector of Thach That District for the 2024-2025 school year with the participation of 509 athletes.
The sports festival has 3 competitions. Of which, badminton has 38 pairs participating, including 6 pairs of men under 41 years old, 10 pairs of men over 41 years old, 12 pairs of men and women and 10 pairs of women. Table tennis has 6 athletes competing in men's singles; 4 athletes competing in women's singles; 10 pairs competing in men's doubles. Women's volleyball has 41 teams from 19 kindergartens, 15 primary schools, 6 secondary schools, and 1 high school.
At the end of the Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the First, Second and Third prizes for the competitions. The District Education and Training Sports Festival was organized to continue to encourage and promote the movement of physical exercise in schools, and at the same time, it was an opportunity to propagate and mobilize members to actively exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho.
