On December 14, Principal of Bac Son Secondary and High School (Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province) Tran Xuan Bach said that he had just disciplined two students who beat a friend to the point of hospitalization.
Mr. Bach informed that the school's Disciplinary Council decided to suspend 2 male students, M.T.Q - class 11.2, and P.T.T - class 11.4, for 1 week after they attacked their friend. The disciplinary period starts from December 16, 2024.
Along with that, the school decided to consider poor conduct for the above 2 students in the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year. The school also asked the 2 male students to apologize to the beaten student.
This is a strict form of discipline, aimed at correcting discipline in the classroom. In the future, the school will inspect and monitor more closely so that students do not commit similar acts.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, according to Bui Thi Thanh Ha - sister of student B.V.K, class 11.2 of Bac Son Secondary and High School (Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province), on October 3, during recess, K was sitting in class when two male students, M.T.Q and P.T.T, rushed in and beat him up.
At Huong Khe Medical Center, K was diagnosed with “other specified injuries affecting multiple areas of the body.” On October 7, K was discharged from the hospital and returned to school. However, while at school, K continued to have headaches, dizziness, and nausea, so her family took her to the Commune Health Station.
Ms. Ha added that while studying at school, K was threatened with beatings many times, causing him to want to drop out of school. His family encouraged K to continue studying.
