Da Nang invests more than 78.7 billion VND to upgrade Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted

Da Nang approved a project of more than 78.7 billion VND to upgrade and expand Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, phase 2, to be implemented from 2025 - 2028.

On August 8, Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet signed Decision No. 908/QD-UBND approving the investment policy to upgrade and expand the facilities of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (phase 2) with a total capital of more than 78.7 billion VND.

The project belongs to group C, using the city budget, to be implemented from 2025 - 2028. The investment content includes: converting the function of some rooms, renovating corridor and staircase railings, replacing tiles and tiles, replacing all doors, installing a sun protection system, renovating the vertical surface, replacing the grille and corrugated iron roof, renovating the electricity and water system, adding a fire protection system...

Specifically, block A will renovate about 3,795m2 of floor space and build a new 207.5m2; block B will renovate 1,775m2 and build a new 680m2; block C will renovate 4,116m2 and build a new 1,892m2; the hall and Library block will renovate 1,600m2 and build a new 800m2; the multi-purpose building will renovate 1,105m2 and other auxiliary items.

Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang City is a public high school for the Gifted in Da Nang. The school was established in 1986 under the name of Quang Nam - Da Nang Voluntary School for the Gifted.

Currently, this is a specialized school in Da Nang city, attracting excellent students in the city and the provinces in the Central - Central Highlands region. In national and Central Highlands excellent student competitions, Le Quy Don specialized school is always in the group of leading schools.
