Dong Thap University said that in the 2025 regular university admission period, the school has a total enrollment target of over 6,000 candidates with 51 majors, including 50 majors in the university system and 1 major in the college system, which is Preschool Education. Of which, 5,500 targets will be applied.
This year, the school applies 5 admission methods, including: Results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; Results of grade 12 ( transcripts); Direct admission according to the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Results of the 2025 competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University; Results of the V-SAT exam 2025. In addition, the school also applies 3 priority policies for admitted students. First, exempt tuition fees for the first semester for students with admission combinations of 25 points or more (excluding priority points) and students with good academic performance in the entire 12th grade.

Continue to exempt tuition fees for students if they achieve Good academic results and Good training results in the following semesters. Students in pedagogical majors that have been supported by the State for tuition fees will receive a scholarship corresponding to the tuition fee for Branch VII (equivalent to VND 7,200,000/semester).

Second, students majoring in both university and college majors are entitled to a tuition fee of VND 3,630,000/month according to Decree 116/2020/ND-CР. And thirdly, the school is considering and supporting 70,000,000 VND for students with housing difficulties and many preferential policies for ethnic minority students.
Dong Thap University is a public university, providing multi-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary training, under the Ministry of Education and Training. This is also one of 14 key higher education institutions in teacher training nationwide, along with non-pedagogical training majors.
